What Can I Feed My Kid?!
Updated: Dec 7, 2019
As a nanny with almost full control over what we can eat. There are a number of meals and treats I like to prepare, but for some it can be hard to make the choices. For some families you may have the flexibility to grocery shop for your meals, that makes things GREAT! However if you aren't sure what to make this can make things even harder. Here is our cheat sheet of meals we like to fix for our kiddos.
Here is our cheat sheet!
pancakes, smoothies, fruit salad, toast (w/ or w/o avocado butter or jelly), oatmeal, smoothie bowl(thick), waffle, quinoa bowl, french toast, banana and peanut butter sandwich/toast
pizza, quesadillas, tacos, salad, wraps, spaghetti, spaghetti w/ meatballs, soup
The best part about using these recipes is the unlimited variety of ways you can create recipes. Take pizza for example there are at least 3 different ways I like to prepare pizza; one of which my favorite being a veggie pizza. If you visit our IG nannymcteasitters you'll find a simple vegan pancake recipe. There are also a number of ways to "dress up" spaghetti. Besides the everyday spaghetti and sauce, or chili, you can make alfedo, chicken alfredo, or even spice it up by adding an assortment of veggies.
This is just a few ideas to get you started. Let us know your favorite recipe for your kids!
